My name is Andy Leach, I know, so famous you’ve never even heard of me, right.

However, I am the author and creator of this book.

I didn’t create this book to be famous. However, over the years I’ve read these lyrics time after time. Now, I wish to share my works and thoughts with you.

This book has been 14 years in the making, (because my pen kept running out)

I started writing song lyrics in my early teens and use to sing the songs into an old reel to reel tape recorder hidden away in my bedroom. Although, I enjoyed doing the songs I never really thought too much about keeping anything that I wrote or sang. Maybe, it’s for the best, I ain’t much of a singer.

It wasn’t until 1993, when I wrote I’d Be Lost Without You (not featured in this book) that I thought about recording professionally. I found a collaborator, singer, and studio and had it recorded. It was strange hearing one of my songs recorded with musical arrangement and sang by a professional singer. Personally, I was unsure about the finished song, I believed I could do better. I saved my money, found another studio and had another go. Over the years I’ve recorded something like 50 songs, I haven’t recorded anything new since 2001, still I’ve kept on writing.

As you will see I write in many different ways. You will find from time to time that the same line or even lines are used in different songs in different ways. I’d like to think this book offers something for everyone, whether you prefer Rock, Pop, Country, Dance, even a little gospel.

I know some of the lyrics won’t be to everyone’s taste. However, I hope you enjoy reading it, as I enjoyed writing it.
